Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup dill pickles chopped
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1 small onion thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 whole wheat slider buns
  • 4 oz Swiss cheese sliced
  • 8 oz cremini mushrooms finely chopped
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Prep Station → Chop mushrooms fine, slice onion thin, portion turkey into 2 oz balls—set out cheese.
  2. Mushroom Caramel → Heat ½ tbsp oil in large skillet high; add mushrooms—cook 5 minutes until golden.
  3. Onion Sweet → Push mushrooms aside; add onions with pinch salt—cook 3 minutes until soft.
  4. Turkey Patties → Form 12 mini patties; season with Worcestershire, garlic powder, salt, pepper.
  5. Sear Sliders → In same skillet, cook patties 2 minutes per side until 165°F internal—work in batches.
  6. Cheese Melt → Top each patty with Swiss slice; cover 1 minute until bubbly.
  7. Bun Toast → Split buns; toast cut-side down in skillet 1 minute until golden.
  8. Assemble Mini → Place patty on bun bottom; top with mushroom-onion mix and pickles.
  9. Crown It → Add bun top; secure with toothpick if serving party-style.
  10. Serve Hot → Plate with air-fried fries or salad—watch sliders disappear fast.

Notes

  • Dry-sauté mushrooms first—intensifies flavor.
  • Mini patties cook fast—don’t overcook.
  • Toast buns for structure.
