Grilled Mushrooms with Soy Ginger Marinade

Grilled Mushrooms with Soy Ginger Marinade is a savory, umami-packed dish perfect for vegetarians and mushroom lovers. The mushrooms are marinated in a fragrant blend of soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil, allowing them to absorb all the rich flavors before being grilled to perfection.

The grilling process brings out their natural sweetness while infusing them with a smoky taste. These grilled mushrooms make an excellent side dish or a savory topping for salads, burgers, or rice bowls. The marinade also works well with different types of mushrooms, adding versatility to your dish.

Recipe Tips and Tricks:

  • Use large, sturdy mushrooms like portobello for better grilling.
  • Marinate for at least 30 minutes, but for best results, let them soak for 1-2 hours.
  • If you prefer a sweeter taste, add a drizzle of honey to the marinade.
  • Make sure your grill is preheated to medium-high heat to avoid burning the mushrooms.
  • For extra flavor, garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds before serving.
